As the sun rises over Holiday Isle Beach Resort and Marina in Islamorada, Florida Keys, the beauty keeps on coming...not only in the scenic views, but also around the 'Isle', as projects to beautify Holiday Isle Resort move forward.
The 'World Famous' Tiki Bar received a new ceiling of Bamboo Matting. Workers scaled the heights of the tall ceiling at left to attach the matting.
The finished product looks 'fan-tastic' in contrast with the bright new colors that were applied around strategic areas in the Tiki Bar.
All around the property, the parking area lines were freshly painted white and the parking bumpers got a fresh new coat of 'light blue'.
The El Capitan section of Holiday Isle has a fresh new sandy beach. (The trees were also trimmed to give the area a bright, clean look.)
Locals and visitors enjoy conversation at Rumrunners Tiki Bar at the north end of Holiday Isle. Rumrunners is a unique, elevated, Tiki Bar with quaint decor, and an absolutely beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean.
A young couple from the Miami area enjoy a quiet moment in one of Rumrunners Tiki Bar's "crow's nest" lofts. A beautiful view overlooking Holiday Isle and the beautiful waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Cook Otto Sejour is ready to 'serve you with a smile' at our Beach Barbecue shack near Floaters Pool, serving some of the 'best barbecue' in the Keys.
Little 'Anthony', from Miami, enjoyed building sandcastles on the beach with the layers of new sand.
"Tom and Angie's Custom Painting" Company prepare a section of the Tower Building for a fresh coat of paint. The Tower Building at Holiday Isle Resort is one of the few 6 story buildings in the Florida Keys, with 'spectacular' views of the Atlantic Ocean and Florida Bay.
Holiday Isle Marina's Offshore Charter fleet located at the south end of Holiday Isle. Our Captains are some of the best in the Florida Keys. Islamorada is known around the world as 'The Fishing Capitol of the World'.
The 63' Yacht 'Queen Nevine' visited our Marina for a few days of fishing and fun.
The owner, from Boca Raton, Florida, said that they 'came down for a Birthday Bash and a couple of days of fishing'. They started with the 'Birthday Bash'!
Guests and visitors enjoy conversation and music at the Tiki Bar over the weekend.
The band 'Stereo Underground' was a hit this past weekend and played for the pleasure of Guests, visitors, and locals.
A young couple dance the night away to the sounds of 'Stereo Underground' at the Tiki Bar.
Steve Hughes, whose 50' vessel "Jonah's Prayer" is docked at Holiday Isle Marina for one month, said he was 'really enjoying the music of Stereo Underground'. Steve said that he 'enjoyed his stay at Holiday Isle Marina so much last year that he decided to come again this year for one month'.
At left, Clint, Eric, and Justin, brothers from the Okeechobee area, enjoying the 'great' atmosphere of the Tiki Bar along with the 'terrific' music. The brothers informed me that they 'come down a couple times a year', they were having 'great fun', and that 'the place is looking GREAT'. The brothers are in the cattle business and run the 'Circle 5 Ranch' near Okeechobee, Florida. Glad to have you back, 'pardners'!!!!
There was good news for the Florida Keys Overseas Highway, from north of Key Largo to Key West, this past week. The Highway was designated an "All-American Highway" by the U.S. Transportation Secretary, Ray LaHood. It's the highest recognition possible under the National Scenic Byways program, and there are only 30 other roadways in the nation that have earned this prestigious title. Holiday Isle Beach Resort and Marina is proud to be located along this 'scenic byway'.
And the scenery cannot be more beautiful, as evidenced by this fantastic sunset behind our Offshore Charter Fleet. Visit our website at www.holidayisle.com to make your plans to 'travel the All American Road' to Holiday Isle Beach Resort and Marina to enjoy the scenery and fun in the sun!!!

Holiday Isle Resort and Marina in Islamorada, Florida Keys is 'Buzzing' with Activity...as 'Busy Bees Begin Beautification' Projects!!!
Holiday Isle Resort and Marina in beautiful Islamorada in the Florida Keys has been 'buzzing' with activity as workers begin beautification projects. As we are in what we refer to as 'the slow season', it is the perfect time (and perfect weather) to take on this task. At right, vacationers enjoy floaters pool by the Atlantic Ocean 'before' its makeover. Scroll through the pictures below to see 'the happenings of the past week'.
Piles and piles of sand were trucked into the resort to beautify our beach. This was quite the project and our engineering department worked 'hard in the heat' to spread the sand over our many beach areas.
At right, our own Director of Operations, Mr. Ed Kinkelaar, jumped into the 'hot seat' to help spread the sand. It was truly a 'Team' effort. (TEAM is one of Holiday Isle's mottos...Together Everyone Achieves More).
At left, and below, the new facelift to the entrance of Floaters pool.
At right, one of the main beach areas with freshly spread sand.
The pool was drained, repaired, painted, and has a fresh new look. It appears that the 'Seagulls' enjoyed the pool while it was taped off during the 'sealing' process.
At right, 'Kokomo's', of song, got a fresh new 'Keys' look as workers painted the bandshell and tables.
A look at 'Rumrunners' beach with its new sand as vacationers enjoy a dip in the ocean.
The Marina Fuel dock is up and ready to fuel with its new digital fuel pumps and a fresh coat of paint.
The Chevron Station/Mini Mart is also fueling again with its new fuel pumps and fresh look.
We had a 'return' visitor to the Holiday Isle Marina this past week. Little 'Rumrunner', born at the Marina and nicknamed by our staff, returned this past week with his Mom and Dad. He has grown about 2 feet and had fun romping around and showing off for our guests.
Vacationers enjoy a 'cool' drink at the Tiki Bar to escape the heat of the past week. It was in the 90's all week.
Visitors were impressed with the 'new look' of Floaters pool as they enjoyed a cool drink poolside and had fun in the water. Such a beautiful view!!!!
Relaxing in the sun and 'new sand' at the beach in front of Floaters Pool. We have added new Coconut Palms and landscaping which adds to the beauty 'by the sea'.
Visitors, on the way to the Tiki Bar, stop to wave for the camera. The gentleman on the right is visiting from Rome, Italy, and his friend is from Brazil. Holiday Isle is a favorite spot for many foreign tourists.
