What's Happening at Holiday Isle: Week of August 29-September 4

September is right around the corner and we have some new and exciting things happening at Holiday Isle.  We have made some revisions to our specials at our bars.  We will now have a $5.00 drink special, all day every day.  We will also be starting a locals night at Rumrunners on Thursdays with some great drink specials and giveaways.  Every Friday will be all day Happy Hour at Rumrunners with 1/2 off Draft Beer, House Wine and Well Drinks.  We will also have Ladies Night from 6pm-12am at the Tiki Bar with 1/2 off Draft Beer, House Wine and Well Drinks.

September also brings us the return of the Food Trucks on 9/9 and the 1st Annual Waterway Cleanup on 9/10.  We are looking for teams to sign up for this event.  Please call Christy at 305-433-9935 for details.

Whats Happening at Holiday Isle: Week of August 22-28 plus Celebrities Brooke Hogan and Carmen Electra at Holiday Isle in the Florida Keys

It was another busy week here at Holiday Isle!  Celebrities Carmen Electra and Brooke Hogan were here in the Florida Keys filming "2 Headed Shark Attack".  The boat that they went out on for filming was docked here at Holiday Isle and they were only too happy to oblige us with some pics!

 


















The Movie Premise: When a Semester at Sea ship is sunk by a mutated two-headed shark, the survivors escape to a deserted atoll. But when it starts flooding, the coeds are no longer safe from the double jaws of the monster.  2 Headed Shark Attacked will be released on DVD in January. 

Our renovations project is in full swing and we are pleased to announce that the Oceanfront Pool is back open for business! The Inn East Building is almost complete and the Tower Building is coming along nicely.  We are starting to see dramatic changes in the Horizon Room as well as the Quarter Deck so for those of you planning Holiday Parties or other events after November you better get in touch with our Sales Department before the space is all reserved!!!

We are also pleased to welcome Marilee, our Karaoke Godess, back from her vacation!  Marilee you were missed these past two weeks!

What's Happening at Holiday Isle Resort & Marina: Week of August 16-21

Thank you to everyone who attended our First Food Truck Invasion last Friday at Holiday Isle Resort & Marina.  A great time was had by all and the crowd grew as the night went on.  Thank you to Billy Davidson for providing us with entertainment and thank you to all the trucks who came down to satisfy our taste buds! 

For those of you who couldn't attend and those of you that want to come back the Food Trucks will return on Friday, September 9.  A list of trucks scheduled to appear will be posted closer to the event date.
