We have a busy week coming up here at Holiday Isle Resort and Marina! The Food Truck Invasion returns this Friday, September 9 from 5pm-9pm in the Marina Parking Lot!
The featured trucks are:
Kitchen Kabab serves an extraordinary fusion of fresh and locally grown Florida ingredients with timeless flavors of Mediterranean spices. It is family owned food truck that is specializes in truly authentic Persian/ Mediterranean cuisine. Grilled kababs are marinated in special seasonings and char-broiled over wood charcoal to perfection. The portions are hearty and can satisfy even the largest craving for kababs.
Mac’n Soul Good is the first and only 100% vegan restaurant on wheels that infuses food and compassion. Natural always and organic whenever possible, the ever-changing menu is served up in biodegradable packaging. All ingredients are plant-based, so you're not only doing service to your body, but the planet as well. They cater to those with food allergies, too! Miami's only vegan food truck serving up a twist on soul food classics.
The Pork Shop is a Miami food truck serving a strictly “PORKETARIAN” menu. Savory, delicious and a Miami staple, The Pork Shop is taking Miami's favorite protein and putting it on wheels. Their motto? “PORK TO THE MASSES!”
The popular gourmet food truck, The Red Koi, uses only the freshest ingredients to serve up unique, creative Asian fare on-the-go. Enjoy the signature Pad Thai, Bangkok Shrimp Tacos, Dragon Roll, or indulge in a sweet Wontonamera fix.
El Rey De La Paella serves traditional Paella Valencia (mussels, chorizo, jumbo shrimp, clams, calamari, saffron and langoustines) and Paella Marinara (langoustines, chicken, rab, mussels, clams, shrimp and lobster), not to mention the meat lovers paella (pork, chorizo and ham) for those not into seafood.
If you like fresh hot nachos with real cheese sauce, spicy tacos and Jalapenos then you're going to love Mucho Nacho, which is a new food truck serving up lunch and dinner on the streets of South Florida. They feature fresh made nachos with a variety of cheese sauces, flautas, tacos, poppers and more!
And that's not all! We also have our 1st Annual Island Community Cleanup happening on September 10! Get together with your friends, coworkers, neighbors or other organization and sign up a team to clean up our Island that day! Registration forms can be picked up at Holiday Isle, LaSiesta Resort & Marina or the Islamorada Visitors Center. Treasure it, Don't trash it!
