What's Happening at Holiday Isle: Week of October 17-23

Over 300 people attended our 3rd Food Truck Invasion on Friday and enjoy the food from Mucho Nacho, Los Chamos, Catered Bliss and the Gypsy Kitchen.  The crowd was entertained by Brenda Star and we even had some dancing going on.  Our next Food Truck Invasion will be November 11 where we will also have the Blood Mobile on hand.  A detailed list of trucks will be published soon.

Thank you to everyone who showed up for the Trikes for Tykes races on Saturday.  Unfortunately due to the rain we had to cancel the event but we will be rescheduling soon.  Stay tuned for the new date.

We were pleased to host our very first banquet in the brand new Horizon room at the Top of the Isle!  We hosted 100 members of our community for the Islamorada Chamber Installation Banquet.  Even though the rain kept our guests from enjoying the sunset view from our new balcony a great time was still had by all. 

Coming up in a couple weeks it's time for Halloween!  Get your costume ready and come on down to the Tiki Bar on 10/28 for a $1000 Bacardi Costume Contest or join us on Saturday 10/29 for the Fantasy Fest Fun Bus to Key West!

Our overnight packages are as follows:
1 Night Package - $255 includes overnight room, 2 Tickets for the Fantasy Fest Fun Bus and all taxes!
2 Night Package - $405 includes overnight room for two nights, Halloween Costume Party in the Tiki Bar, 2 Tickets for the Fantasy Fest Fun Bus and all taxes!
Tickets for the bus can be purchased for $50 per person.  Included in your bus fare is beverages and fun games and prizes on the way down!

What's Happening at Holiday Isle: Week of October 10-16

The Food Truck Flotilla returns on Friday, October 14th from 5pm-9pm at Holiday Isle.  We are pleased to welcome several new trucks to our lineup!  This weeks trucks include: Los Chamos, Overload Food Truck, Chef on 4 Wheels (Happy Greek), The Pork Shop, Nacho Mama and Gypsy Kitchen!  Attendees of this great event will also be able to get a sneak peak of our brand new lobby and guestrooms!  We can't wait to show off what we have accomplished!

Another event that we are hosting this weekend is the Annual Trikes for Tykes Races to benefit the Upper Keys Kiwanis and students of the Upper Keys!  Teams will compete in 5 races on tricycles for medals and trophies!  Each team consists of 4 adult members and will participate in the following races: drag, slalom, long distance, obstacle and relay.  The team entry fee gets you a sponsor plaque with a team photo and 2 drink tickets to the Tiki Bar for each team member!  Teams are still being accepted so please call 305-433-9935 to participate!

What's Happening at Holiday Isle: Week of October 3-9, 2011

We are getting excited here at Holiday Isle that our first round of brand new rooms in the Tower and Inn Building's will soon be ready!  The designers are here putting some finishing touches on our fully renovated rooms and we can't wait to welcome our guests to the new and improved Holiday Isle!

Fall may be a quiet time in the Keys but not at Holiday Isle! We have lots of great events coming up for October!  We have a Blood Drive on 10/13, the Food Trucks are back 10/14 and Trikes for Tikes on 10/15. For Halloween weekend we will be offering a 1 and 2 day package that includes a brand new room, a Halloween Costume Party on Friday, 10/28 and a ride on the Holiday Isle Fun Bus to Key West Fantasy Fest on 10/29!  For details on these events please call Christy Cockrell at 305-433-9935.
